4 Tips to Create a Great Trade Show Display

Posted on: 20 February 2019

Trade shows are a great way to generate interest in your business. They allow you to reach more people and grow your customer base. Trade shows are also an investment, so of course you want to make the most of the experience. Here are four tips to help you create a great trade show display:

1. Let your customers know who you are.

A trade show is your chance to make a positive impression on the people attending the show. While it's important to have a beautiful, well-designed, eye-catching display, you can't forget the most important thing: your company name. Strangers should be able to learn your company name at a glance. Make it easy for them by displaying your company's name and logo prominently.

2. Make it easy to connect.

If your customers like your booth, message, and product, they're going to want to know how to find you in the future. That's where business cards can come in. You should have a card with your company's name, website, phone number, and email address on it. If you prefer, you can print this information on a sticker or another fun piece of swag. Just make sure it's something your customers can take with them. You don't want someone to be sitting at home after the trade show wishing they had a way to contact you, without being able to do so.

3. Give free samples.

It's a great idea to give away free samples of one of your smaller products, if possible. People love getting a good deal, and there's no better deal than something free. If you really want to impress people at the trade show, have some large reusable cloth bags screen-printed with your company's name and logo. People can use the bag to hold the things they get from various booths, and they'll be so grateful for the help. Plus, you'll get free advertising when other people see your company information on the outside of their bag.

4. Use bright, eye-catching colors.

You want your booth to stand out from the crowd at the trade show, so make sure your booth is visually appealing. Neutral colors may look nice on the walls, but they can look drab and uninspiring in a trade show display. Pick bold colors, but make sure all your colors look harmonious together. Using one or two accent colors is best to avoid overwhelming viewers.
